John 3:3 Jesus.. “I assure you, everyone must be born again. Anyone who is not born again cannot be in God’s kingdom.”
Acts 4:12 Jesus is the only one who can save people. His name is the only power in the world that has been given to save anyone. We must be savedthrough Him!”
Why must I be born again? Why must I be saved?
Genesis 1:27 "God created humans in His own image. He created them to be like himself. He created them male and female. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Have many children. Fill the earth and take control of it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the air. Rule over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Genesis 2:15 The LORD God put the man in the Garden of Eden to work the soil and take care of the garden. 16 The LORD God gave him this command: “You may eat from any tree in the garden. 17 But you must not eat from the tree that gives knowledge about good and evil. If you eat fruit from that tree, on that day you will certainly die!”

Where it all went wrong...
The Beginning of Sin
1 The snake was the most clever of all the wild animals that the LORD God had made. The snake spoke to the woman and said, “Woman, did God really tell you that you must not eat from any tree in the garden?”
2 The woman answered the snake, “No, we can eat fruit from the trees in the garden. 3 But there is one tree we must not eat from. God told us, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden. You must not even touch that tree, or you will die.’” (Is that what God actually said in Gen 2:17?)
4 But the snake said to the woman, “You will not die. 5 God knows that if you eat the fruit from that tree you will learn about good and evil, and then you will be like God!” (Gen. 1:27 She already was like God! Satan caused her to question that truth.)
6 The woman could see that the tree was beautiful and the fruit looked so good to eat. She also liked the idea that it would make her wise. (She began to feel like God was holding out on her. Have you ever felt like that due to circumstances around you? Listen to Jesus' words in Matthew ll:6 "Blessed is he who is not offended because of Me." NKJ )
So she took some of the fruit from the tree and ate it. Her husband was there with her, so she gave him some of the fruit, and he ate it too!
7 Then it was as if their eyes opened, and they saw things differently. They saw that they were naked (or exposed. What clothed them only moments ago, suddenly vanished.)So they got some fig leaves, sewed them together, and wore them for clothes.
8 During the cool part of the day, the LORD God was walking in the garden. The man and the woman heard him, and they hid among the trees in the garden. 9 The LORD God called to the man and said, “Where are you?”
10 The man said, “I heard you walking in the garden, and I was afraid. I was naked, so I hid.”
11 God said to the man, “Who told you that you were naked? Did you eat fruit from that special tree? I told you not to eat from that tree!”
12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me gave me fruit from that tree. So I ate it.”
13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What have you done?”
She said, “The snake tricked me, so I ate the fruit.”
14 So the LORD God said to the snake,
“You did this very bad thing,
so bad things will happen to you.
And because Adam chose to side with God's enemy - things spiraled downhill from that point for all of us! The seed of evil had been planted in the lives of God's offspring and all they could do was populate in the earth after their own kind. Sinner giving birth to sinner. Beings now separated from their Creator of their own free will. Instead of Paradise, a world of "good as well as evil had been selected. Pandora's box was opened and nothing could stop the cycle of wrongdoing in the earth...till..
Jesus (God in flesh) took the hit for it all!
Jesus at the cross:
Isaiah 52:14..."He was beaten so badly that he no longer looked like a man."
Isaiah 53:4 "The fact is, it was our suffering He took on Himself; He bore our pain. But we thought that God was punishing Him, that God was beating Him for something He did. 5 But He was being punished for what we did. He was crushed because of our guilt. He took the punishment we deserved, and this brought us peace. We were healed because of His pain."
Galatians 3:13 "The law says we are under a curse for not always obeying it. But Christ took away that curse. He changed places with us and put Himself under that curse. The Scriptures say, “Anyone who is hung on a tree is under a curse.”
Hebrews 10:14 With one sacrifice Christ made His people perfect forever. They are the ones who are being made holy.
15 The Holy Spirit also tells us about this. First He says,
16 “This is the agreement I will make
withMy people in the future, says the Lord.
I will put My laws in their hearts.
I will write My laws in their minds.”
17 Then He says,
“I will forget their sins and never again remember the evil they have done.”
18 And after everything is forgiven, there is no more need for a sacrifice to pay for sins. (Jesus becamethe "Lamb of God who came to take away the sin of the world...John 1:29 =The penalty for the original sin & all that it had caused.)
Come Near to God
19 And so, brothers and sisters, we are completely free to enter the Most Holy Place (look again at John 3:3 ...free now to be part of God's world). We can do this without fear because of the blood sacrifice of Jesus.
John 8:36 "So if the Son makes you free, you are really free."
(That's what happens when a person is "born again/saved." They can literally begin all over again every minute of every day as if sin was never a part of their life. Legally they are declared free "from the curses listed in Deuteronomy 28:15-68.)
Have you publicly accepted what Jesus did for you?
2 Corinthians 5:17 "When anyone is in Christ, it is a whole new world. The old things are gone; suddenly, everything is new! 18 All this is from God. Through Christ, God made peace between Himself and us. And God gave us the work of bringing people into peace with Him. 19 I mean that God was in Christ, making peace between the world and Himself. In Christ, God did not hold people guilty for their sins. And He gave us this message of peace to tell people. 20 So we have been sent to speak for Christ. It is like God is calling to people through us. We speak for Christ when we beg you to be at peace with God. 21 Christ had no sin, but God made Him become sin so that in Christ we could be right with God."
(Jesus openly and publicly paid for your wrongs. You receive His forgiveness when you publicly and openly confess what He's done for you before others!)
Luke 12:8 “I tell you, if you stand before others and are willing to say you believe in Me, then I will say that you belong to Me."
And the Good News is that now you no longer have to be naked and exposed (in shame). You can be positioned "in Jesus."
Colossians 3:10 "Now you are wearing a new life, a life that is new every day."
Only roads that go through Jesus can lead us to Heaven!
