Portuguese Soup
8 qts. of water
1 link of Chourico
1 soup bone
1/2 head cabbage, chopped coarsely
4 leaves of kale, chopped coarsely
3 med. potatoes, cubed
2 carrots, chopped coarsely
1 cup of elbow macaroni
Ground red Portuguese pepper
salt
1 tbsp. of tomato paste       Cook and serve. 


Venus De Milo Soup
1 lb. (or less) of hamburger
1 (16 oz. can) of tomatoes
1 (20 oz. pkg.) frozen mixed vegetables
1 envelope of Lipton onion soup mix
1 handful of Ronzoni Orzo - No. 47

Cook hambuger in kettle until brouwn.  Add 3 cans of water.  Let it come  to a
boil.  Then add a package of mixed vegetables, onion soup and tomatoes.
Let simmer until vegetables are done.  (Add small can of mushrooms if desired).
Cook orzo separately, then add to mixture.
