Two thirds of Jesus’ ministry dealt with healing the sick. He met the need of those in pain because of His great love for them. Scripture tells us that He is no different today! He’s still interested in what your going through and He desires to deliver you from it. How great is that?
All He wants from you is to give Him place in your life and for you to believe Him! That takes relationship!
There is no magic formula to cure you. There is no prerequisite to receiving from His Hand. You don’t have to be good enough! You don’t even have to keep the commandments. Healing, like His love, is unconditional. Bottom line...would your caring for your own really depend on how good they were? What would that make you? Such nonsense!
It’s only a matter of you (the branch) being connected to Him (The Vine) and letting His life source flow to you and through you. The Word of God connects you to Himself. A constant feeding upon the nourishment of that Bread of Life will give you strength to overcome and dispel what is going on in your body. When that happens: “Greater is Your God who is in you then sickness and disease that are in this world!” Your then giving place for Him to help you as He desires.
Know, that He will never usurp authority over your will. He is a meek and humble of heart Being - in other wards, He will not push His longings upon you. But He needs your cooperation!
Look at it this way, what would happen to the stem of a plant if it was severed from the root (it's life source)? That again is relationship! No one who disconnects themselves from Him or His Word can walk in His best for their lives. We weren’t created to exist apart from Him! So if you’ve distanced yourself from your Heavenly Father at all in your life, it’s time to reconnect.
Jesus said that He would refuse no one who came to Him. His gifts are literally for all! It’s not about what you’ve done, it’s about what He’s done for you already and your receiving it! Healing is God’s gift to you, bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ, shed 2,000 yrs. ago. He didn’t need saving, you did! So what are you waiting for?
God’s not dead but very much alive, what you need is for Him to be alive in you.
Get into the New Testament and discover that the same Being who healed people of various kinds of ailments long ago is willing to free you today of what you’ve been dealing with, even when you hear THERE IS NO HOPE! With God there is no such depressing report! There is always a solution in Him and with Him. He is THE WAY EVERY MINUTE OF EVERYDAY to those who choose to love Him and be loved by Him.
