One day a man came to Jesus looking for healing for his young daughter:

Mark 5:35 & 36 "While Jesus was still there speaking, some men came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. They said, “Your daughter is dead. There is no need to bother the Teacher.” But Jesus did not care what the men said. He said to the synagogue leader, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.” (ERV)

What exactly are we to believe?? Answer = The highest form of faith that exists is you believing that God cares about you, your world and your situation.

We have heard so far from the Word of God that it is indeed God's will to heal each and everyone of us of whatever we need deliverance from.  It doesn't even matter how long we've been suffering under the grip of that particular sickness or disease; which incidentally did not come from God in the first place.  Nor does it matter if the world labels us as "too far gone".  God's will is always healing!  He is our Great Physician!  The Physician who can go above and beyond what any other physician is capable of doing, but it's according to the power that is at work within you.

Ephesians 3:20 "God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us." (Msg)

Let's look at another reference to this; one that specifically mentions healing:

3 John 1:2 "Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit." (NLT)

What power?  What ability?  What strength? And what is the source of this energy mentioned?  The force is  F A I T H.  Faith is the creative might, the muscle in your inner man, that when released; will change things.  And it's stimulation is LOVE.  GOD IS LOVE!  He doesn't only have this substance.  He is this substance!  But not the kind of love that the world is familiar with. The word is agape.

As we've seen in our studies, God is a thoroughly forgiving and merciful Being.  With the blood of Jesus now whiting out our misgivings as though they never were; God is able to make all of His favor, all of His grace (the expressions of His love) ABOUND TOWARDS YOU!  He has crowned and surrounded you with His love!  In fact, that is the reason He brought you forth -to love you. To really LOVE YOU!

Before you came to be, LOVE who is God, needed someone to love; and that someone turned out to be you!  It's the story of the bible, His story.  And He wants you to take it extremely personal.  No one loves you the way your God loves you!  Agape love is loving someone to the utmost, unconditionally, infinitely.
Truth be known, there's nothing that you can do that will ever stop Him from loving you.

(God talking)  Jeremiah 31:3  “I’ve never quit loving you and never will.
Expect love, love, and more love!" (Msg)
Song of Solomon 2:4 ..." His banner over me was love [for love waved as a protecting and comforting banner over my head when I was near him]." (Amp)

Faith is an attitude of the heart.  It's a boldness, a confidence that swells within our hearts when we feed upon the truth of God's Word.  The Truth that tells us of His deep love for us.  That word stimulates an action within our spirits. That action will affect lives and alter situatons.  It's God working from within out to change what needs changing, forever.

Galatians 5:6 "For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, (BUT THIS IS WHAT REALLY MATTERS TO GOD) but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love."  (Amp)

This is the attitude that it takes to receive healing (or any other blessing) from God:
Herews 4:16 "So let’s walk right up to Him and get what He is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help."  (Msg)

What will give you that kind of boldness to approach the Throne of God expecting to receive?  Answer:  Confidence in the love that your God has for you.  Love will not take from you your health.  Love will do all that is within it's power to bring about restoration.  God is LOVE!

1 John 4:19  "We, though, are going to love—love and be loved. First we were loved, now we love. He loved us first." (Msg)

1 John 4:10 "True love is God’s love for us.." (ERV)

Why do you think Satan works overtime to keep you from falling in love and staying in love with the One who Fathered you?
Listen to the words of Jesus:

Matthew 11:4-6  "Jesus gave them this reply... blind men are recovering their sight, cripples are walking, lepers being healed, the deaf hearing, the dead being brought to life and the good news is being given to those in need. And happy is the man who never loses faith in me.” (Phillips)

Blessed is the man who never loses faith in who? in God or in LOVE

1 John 4:16 "God is love..... our love for Him grows more and more, filling us with complete confidence..."  (Phillips)

Real love cares about what your going through, enough to do something about it!
Jesus cared enough about Jairus' little girl to raise her up from a very hopeless situation.  He was moved with compassion and helped this family.  The Good News is He never changes!!

God is asking you to believe in the love that He has for you.  Believing in that love will cause great boldness to rise up within you.  Acting upon that love will bring the blessings of God your way each and every day!

Romans 8:31-32 "In face of all this, what is there left to say? If God is for us, who can be against us? He that did not hesitate to spare his own Son but gave him up for us all—can we not trust such a God to give us, with Him, everything else that we can need?" (Phillips)

AND SICK PEOPLE NEED HEALING. Right???

Matthew 7:7-11 “Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn’t a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing. You’re at least decent to your own children. So don’t you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better?  (Msg)
