Romans 5:17 "For if because of one man's trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God's] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)." Amplified Bible
Reigning in life over evil takes more than just being a Christian, being saved or being born again. That's the first step to where it all begins; when we as individuals ask Jesus Christ to become #1 in our lives. But just by having the Presence of the Spirit of Grace in us and in our midst, does not from that moment on guarantee God's children victory at every turn.
Being an overcomer or being overcome depends on how much of the words of the King we are willing to accept as law in our lives and choose to uphold against the enemy.
Revelation 1:5 & 6 "...from Jesus Christ...the Prince of the kings of the earth. To Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood. And has made us kings....." KJV
You and I as underrulers (note: King of kings) will dominate all that attempts to dominate us only by choosing to make God's words our first and final authority consistently and speak them out of our mouths from our hearts without compromise. "Have faith in God constantly," Jesus said. This is a must in pursuing daily success. "He said it; that settles it," should be our motto. God never changes and it will be to our advantage to be just like Him when it comes to being One with the Word. Amos 3:3 states..."Can two walk together except they agree?" Being a man or woman of two minds will get us nowhere.
"Out of the abundance of our hearts our mouths will speak."
It is inevitable, our King said....Matthew 12:34. That being the case, you need to ask yourself, what is in your heart in abundance? What do you spend the greatest portion of your time listening to and thinking about? Because that is what's slipping out of your mouth in power? True success comes by meditating on the Words of the Master.
To have God and His ability manifest itself in your life beginning today...you need to be walking with Him in submission, for it is only "with Him" (He and His Word) where all things are and can be possible. He has always wanted that kind of a relationship with mankind, since the foundation of the earth. But there is no way that we can walk with our Father in joy without choosing to walk in obedience to all that He has said. The two go hand in hand. God is His Word and the Word is God!
John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth." KJV
We are sheep of the Good Shepherd and when we yield our allegiance to His commands, then and only then, shall we not want for any good thing. So, what are you saying all the time about your circumstances? About all that concerns you? Are you even aware that you can and are getting what you say?
Mark 11:23 "For verily I say to you, That whosoever....shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says." KJV
Not what you say once or twice and not what you say and then change your mind about a little later on will become your reality. But if what you are choosing to confess is your final word on the matter and it is in agreement with what God is saying about you, then He can/will confirm His Word to you with signs following.
It is only what you and He agree upon as One or are in one accord about that He can personally bring to pass in your life. Hearsays that you are rock solid in and immovable about, may come to pass before you, but not by Him. He is just honoring His words to you when they do. How forcible are right words ...Job 6:25 and turn it around...how forcible are wrong ones too! Depending on who they originate with, they will either bring about your condemnation or your deliverance. It's the perfect law of liberty however: God's Law -that
can truly and fully set us free!
