My 7 month old, Garrett, has not been sleeping through the night. In fact, he has been waking every 3 hours like a newborn baby. This has really taken a toll on me, and I have been really stressed from not getting a full night of consecutive sleep. Two nights ago, Garrett went to bed around 9:30, and was up again by 11:30. Eventually, I got him back to sleep, and, as I was going to bed, I decided to cast the care of this situation over on the Lord. I told Him that I wasn’t worrying about it anymore. I was handing it to him.
Well, he slept until around 7 am the following morning! He did even better last night, sleeping from 9:30 straight through until 7:30 am. It has been wonderful to have that weight lifted from off my shoulders, and to get a full night of sleep. I'm looking forward to enjoying this kind of rest every night. Praise God!
