WHO'S WATCHING YOUR WEIGHT?
No temptation is too strong for us...  God has provided a way, through His Word, to handle it....

1 Corin. 10:13 "No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face.  All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; He'll never let you be pushed past your limit; He'll always be there to help you come through it."

If you have been struggling with your weight, NOW IS THE TIME TO STOP.   God created food, don't you think that He knows what your body needs to eat and how much?  If your like me, you have been through many temptations involving food.  Maybe candy is your downfall, maybe desserts or perhaps fast food or even take out is a problem for you, but, with God there isn't anything you can't overcome.  With God there is no such thing as failure.  Maybe you feel disgusted with yourself and that has led you to just eating more.  Our moods and feelings keep up on the roller coaster of dieting.  DON'T YOU WANT TO BE FREE?

1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your cares (anxieties) on God for He cares for you."

Cast your weight and the care of it on God.  You can go to every available weight class that there is, but, none of them give you what it takes to conquer the temptation that Satan will throw at you.  Only the Word of God will come to your aid when you can't seem to resist on your own.  Only God can pick you up when you are down.  Yes, He wants you healthy and not heavy because of the burden that excess weight puts on your body.  Know, however, that God is not ashamed of you.  He's really looking at your heart and not your body.  We have a responsiblity to take care of this temple while we are in it though, but, that can only be done appropriately with God according to His Word.

Psalm 103:5  "God satisfies our mouth with good things; so that our youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Set your eyes on Jesus, who is the Word.  Allow Him to show you what your body needs.  Remember, all things are possible ONLY WITH HIM.  So turn your weight problem over to God and listen to what He has to say to you about your body and then what He says, you start to confess; the power in His Word will bring you the results.

Tid bit:  If you drink a 280 calorie bottle of juice five days a week, you will have consumed 73,000 calories in one year.  But, if you substitute the juice with water, than, you will have cut 73,000 calories out or your intake, which is equal to 18 pounds of weight gain.
"If you become a glutton and just live to gratify your appetite by eating and drinking, you will lose out spiritually.  But if you will keep your appetite under control and your body under like Paul says he did, your spirit will have a chance to evidence itself."  ...
John G. Lake
....John was saying that our spirit will have an outward sign of the changes that were made on the inside.
